Heh, back in the good ol' 55 farming days, I used a macro to cast Balth spirit > Essence Bond > Mending > Blessed Aura, so basically 8|7|6|5 (with 1 second delay in between them of course).
Currently I'm using a macro to type my password. I'm a lazy bastard. |

I was personally thinking of macro keys for hero fast faction farming. Instead of a bot like program.
Set the keys so hit one and it'll flag the hero to spot one, next one for hero two, then hero three and once they are all flagged start manually casting all the enchants and run spells. Shouldn't be against eula because all they do is the flagging portion and your hitting keys manually. All of which requires human interaction to do it all as well as the manually getting rewards/ zoning. Last edited by MercenaryKnight; Jun 12, 2008 at 05:49 PM // 17:49.. |

The only issue I can see with having it flag is that your U-map will have to be exactly the same size at exactly the same position at all times, or your flags will be off (IIUC, mouseclicks are set at X,Y coordinates). Still, even just macroing F5 > 7(Num) > 8(Num) would be nice. Then I could hit 1 button instead of three, and manually flag while they are casting their SFs and running skills. |

Yeah, but all you have to do is keep your umap the same size and put it to really huge 3/4ths of the screen and just not move it. Just got to always remember to zoom it in with the mousewheel every time or so. But besides that it'd be really easy to do that, and it would prevent any screwups from happening from not clicking the right spot.

I was hoping that I could figure those sorts of things into my keyboard. As for the hfff macro, would your keyboard record those mouse movements? if so you would be able to set up a screen shot and share said macro...... =]
But I really do love the keyboard, and I do use the current lcd display but I wish it had more pertinent info. Whatever's clever though. I would love for you to be able to target an item and it show you info on it or something |

I hope Guild Wars 2 will have LCD support.
And I'm still not sure if you can get banned for using certant types of macros, or using the LCD screen to read the Gw.exe memory. |

You never really need the u map for much while your playing anything else. If you do you just do it while your not fighting.
I am not sure about the g5 software and the mouseclicks, but I know other software let's you click positions with x/y numbers. So all you'd have to do is use a program to make a script where it will click in the right spot, then bind the g5 key to enable that script. You could use the program autohotkey and then record clicking on the spot so you know the coordinates, then just write the script so it left clicks once. I love it myself. At first I thought I wasn't going to use it that often, I mean, all the info it shows can be shown on screen right? Now I find it difficult to play without it. I have become reliant on it. AND I got rid of the xp bar in my UI. Enjoy! |

i made a pretty basic macro for hfff (45sec/run)
its semi-automatic but requires the human to do the flaggings. It needs a specific build using all three ranger heroes and a specific keyboard hotkey layout. pm if you want a g15 version copy. |

If you haven't done it already, might I suggest adding a "U" to the tail end of the stairs runner's macro, with the appropriate delay (will vary depending on your build). It's perfect. When the minimap disappears, I know the run is finished. XD |
